About a light

It was a moonless night. With zero hope in my heart, I was looking at my reflection in the water, when something caught my eye. It was a light in the sky, too bright to be a star. Beautiful in every way, shape, and form, and angelic in every sense of the word, just by seeing whatever that light was I knew I'd never be the same. I had to ask, who are you? what is your name? and what makes you so bright? no answer was given. It fell from the sky and came close to me, I didn't know how to react, until it came and leaned on my chest, and listened to the sound of my heart beating, at that moment I knew it was true and sincere. I felt its warmth, and I had to put my arms around it. A voice came from the light, and said to me "believe in yourself". At that point I could barely see because of all the tears in my eyes, finally it flew away, leaving a trail of white behind. It's okay, I know it won't be the last time I see you, you'll be in my dreams, and you'll be in my heart, the heart you listened to the beating of. What can shine brighter than gold or jewels? people ask, but on this moonless night I was given the answer.
